Work You’ll Do
Join Deloitte as a Network & Server Administrator, where you'll install, configure, and maintain our organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and both physical and virtual server environments. You’ll perform system monitoring, ensure hardware and network availability, and maintain the integrity of all system resources. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing system and application logs, verifying the completion of scheduled jobs—including system backups—and controlling user access. This role involves collaborating with other IT specialists, analyzing network and server resource consumption, and supporting upgrades and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
  - Install, configure,      and support LAN, WAN, and Internet systems or network segments to ensure      optimal performance and availability for all users.
- Monitor networks and servers,      perform necessary maintenance, and verify completion of all scheduled      jobs—such as system and data backups.
- Analyze system resource      consumption and control access privileges for users and groups.
- Review system and application      logs, troubleshoot errors, and resolve issues to maintain network and      system integrity.
- Install and upgrade system and      application software, maintain software licenses, and manage baseline      system security.
- Assist in network      emulation/virtualization, modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination      between network and data communications hardware and software.
- Maintain baseline      security protocols, execute recovery procedures, and define network usage      policies in alignment with Deloitte standards.
- Document systems administration      standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with defined      protocols and local network policies.
- May support network security      measures, hardware/software interface troubleshooting, and execution of      contingency and recovery plans.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
  - Bachelor’s degree in      Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information      Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited or      NCAE designated institution OR equivalent years of experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a      network or systems administrator
- Active Top Secret security      clearance (SCI eligible)
- Must be legally authorized to      work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now      or at any time in the future
- Must be able to work onsite in      Pax River, MD 5 days a week
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 to $198,375.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
