Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the MDMS Development team. Our team is responsible for managing major subcontracts and developing innovative solutions to drive program success. 
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will be responsible for leading multifunctional teams and managing a portfolio of subcontracts, ensuring that suppliers meet cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance requirements. You will leverage your project management skills to drive results and your critical thinking abilities to navigate complex challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading subcontract management teams, including procurement, engineering, and supplier quality
• Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types
• Developing pre-negotiation strategies using cost evaluations and leading team negotiations
• Prepares bid packages, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity
• Managing post-award subcontract functions, including cost, schedule, and technical performance, invoice reconciliation, and approval
• Interfacing with program and cross functional teams to drive decision making and collaboration

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with procurement and subcontract management
• Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
• Demonstrated strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and/or Supplier Management Teams
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Ability and willingness to travel as appropriate, based on current issues and performance of suppliers
• Must be willing to work onsite in the Orlando office 2 or more days per week
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline)
• Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate challenging business relationships with internal and external partners
• Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers, and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations
• Defense Industry and Production program experience
• Experience in Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
• Demonstrates a knowledge of FAR and DFAR
• Demonstrated Risk Management experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.  Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.  These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
