Description:What We’re DoingOur team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The WorkSuccessful candidate will work under the direction of various technical Leads and interface with team members, C2BMC management, and government customers to ensure high quality products are generated on time and within the resources available. Responsibilities include integration of the product lines, generation of responsible sections of the capability specifications, DOORS processes and procedures, reviewing the content and details of technical products, and acting as a technical interface to MDA working level counterparts on an as required basis.
This position will provide cross functional support for requirements management and DOORS administration. Tasks will consist of: 1. Perform DOORS administration for COS and HSV; create modules for these sites; synchronize modules between sites; create DOORS reports (e.g., specifications traceability and metrics), work user problems (e.g., installation, password modifications). 3. Element Specification (ES) Coordination: produce monthly Detailed ES; produce Summary ES for delivery to the government; maintain different formats of ES in DOORS (i.e., Spiral Effectivity and type (Summary, Detailed)). 4. work technical performance measures (TPMs).

Basic Qualifications:•An active final secret clearance is required
•Experience managing system and component baselines in a requirements management system.
•Experience defining and documenting relationships between internal and external components.
•Experience communicating component relationships to customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users.
•Experience generating system and element level functional, performance, and interface specifications to control and verify desired capabilities.
•MBSE Experience
•Experience with DOORS
Desired Skills:•Ability to analyze high level needs and develop structured requirements management schemas and attributes using a logical approach.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills; clearly present technical approaches and findings to diverse audiences.
•Ability to implement engineering plans within project timelines and constraints.
•Work effectively as part of an integrated team maintaining physical, functional, and technical baseline requirements for the evolving BMDS Battle Management, Command & Control, and Communications (C2BMC) effort.
•DXL and or Python experience desired

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
