Key Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with customers and strategic partners throughout the lifecycle of PNT projects.
- Serve as a liaison between civilian and military partners to develop customer requirements and to provide operational guidance.
- Assemble and test PNT hardware systems at customers’ locations, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Provides field support at customers’ locations to ensure PNT products are installed properly and functioning.
- Provides onsite and remote operational training to customers on delivered PNT products.
- Collaberate with key military partners to develop strategic test and operational plans.
- Support Engineers in the design, development, modification, and improvement of products/processes.
- Responsible for complex components of PNT systems and programs.
- Prepares and organizes plans for PNT hardware systems, parts, and equipment that are to be delivered to customers’ sites.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, test, maintain, repair, and install PNT equipment and systems in remote locations.
- Performs assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents, receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed, performs recurring work independently.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to enhance our products and services.
Work Environment:
- Location: Hybrid work model; applicant must be local to APG, MD area
- Travel Requirements: Minimal travel required
- Working Hours: Standard business hours
Qualifications:
Required:
- Expert knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and knowledge of current military PNT products.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
- Experience with military operations and an understating of military structure.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to be able interface with cross-functional teams.
- Top Secret Active government security clearance required.
Desired:
- Prior military service with experience in PNT and RF systems.
- Strong background in Electronic Warfare.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
- PNT hardware and wire harness assembly.
Basic Compensation: $80,000- $100,000; Competitive salary based on experience and role level.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
