The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
We are seeking an experienced Software Test LAB Integrator with a robust Information Technology (IT) background with a blend of technical skills like programming, scripting, system administration (especially Linux), and familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Essential also are effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, and experience troubleshooting complex software and hardware systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the integration, coordination, and execution of Lab-based testing and verification/validation activities for the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS)/ Ground and Flight Application Software Team (GFAST)/Lab testing events.
This LAB Integrator position supports the Command-and-Control Project Management Office. We are seeking an innovative and results-driven person to join our dynamic team. The LAB Integrator will be primarily responsible for lining up the overall processes, procedures, and facilitating the required resources in supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS)/ Ground and Flight Application Software Team (GFAST)/Lab testing events
Responsibilities 
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
• Demonstrate a proven track record of operational process analysis, re-design, and realized benefits across a diverse set of functional capabilities and programs.
• Make independent judgments required for the planning, prioritizing, and organizing of workstream elements and resource forecasting to support the transformation, solutioning, and execution cycle.
• Address complex challenges and drive solutions that may require extensive organizational / functional integration.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications - External 
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution; at least four years of experience. With a minimum of four (4) years of direct hands-on LAB Integration experience, demonstrating strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. A combination of advanced education and experience will be considered.

• Project Management and Software Development skills is highly desired.
• Knowledge of Kennedy Space Centers Ground & Flight Application Software Team (GFAST) Structure is a plus.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if necessary
Physical Requirements
• May be required to climb stairs to access equipment for trouble shooting.
• Will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and other associated personal protective equipment.
• Position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing.
Work Environment 
• May be required to work inside and outside throughout the test complex.
• Position may require individual to travel daily to different areas on site.
• Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand, may be required to access various locations on the facility.
• All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and company safety standards.
Equipment and Machines 
• Computers and printers used for producing reports and schedules.
• Variety of equipment used in testing.
Attendance 
• Full-time work hours.
• Position may require occasional overtime, including weekend work, depending on task.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Shift work may be required.
Other Essential Functions 
• Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication.
• Must be able to travel to support position requirements. This may include travel to and from customer location, which may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can be made for POV, if necessary.
• Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
• Must comply with all “drug free workplace” requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions.
• Government security clearance may be required in the future.
