The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Services Manager to support our Capability Sustainment team in support of Maritime Sustainment for the Royal Australian Navy.
As part of KBR, you will contribute to delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions that shape the future of Maritime Sustainment.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Supply Support activities that ensure continuous support of program deliverables, including Urgent Defects, Expected Delivery Data and Required Delivery Date shortfalls, Demand Satisfaction Rate analysis and recommendations, and maintenance of Data Management Systems information.
- Provides expert Supply Support advice and support to Defence, Leadership Teams, Industry Partners and Customers.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Supply Support team and the 3PL warehouse operations for the Program.
- Assist in the development of policies, processes and procedures for use as part of a Supply Support and Logistics Management System and provide assurance of effective delivery through monitoring.
- Collate and analyse data using existing Defence related systems such as LNIDs, MILIS, NAVALLOW and APLCrates.
- Assist in maintaining the effective and efficient Data Management Systems (DMS) for the program.
- Capture, analyse and report on supplier technical and performance data to support Supply Support Services
- Monitor and report against Supply Support Performance Measures and other performance measures in Defence mandated supply systems.
- Coordinate reporting across the Procurement and Supply Chain function, including procurement, inventory management, care and preservation and warehousing
- Recommend product, process or service improvements including initiatives that will contribute to standardisation Continuous Improvement and Innovation opportunities.
- Analyse trends for Supply Support activities and advise the Leadership Teams of any associated risks and proposed mitigation.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Essential:
- Supply Chain Management and logistics qualification, or relevant experience.
- 10 years’ + experience in integrated logistic support or logistic engineering.
- Experience in Defence or Defence Industry required.
- Knowledge and experience in Defence logistics management systems, including but not limited to - MILIS, LNIDs, NAVALLOW, APLCrates and AMPS.
- Understanding of the Australian Defence contracting framework and procurement rules.
- Experience in supporting marine/mechanical/electrical systems in RAN platforms desired.
