Data Scientist to join our team in

In this role, you will contribute to a mission-focused team that will support military operators and mission partners by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and data engineering techniques to develop innovative solutions that support national security operations. Your work will have a direct impact on operational decisions, helping stakeholders gain timely, data-driven insights.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Leading the design and deployment of predictive models, statistical analyses, and data visualization tools in support of operational and strategic missions
- Translating complex datasets and analytics into actionable intelligence for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring quality, integrity, and compliance with data governance frameworks
- Collaborating with Data Engineers and stakeholders to deploy and refine models on Government-furnished MLOps platforms. Evaluating model performance and refining algorithms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Documenting methodologies, workflows, and technical findings in support of reproducibility and knowledge transfer
- Applying data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
- As part of the C5ISR Team, analyzes complex, large-scale datasets, including imagery, video, and text, to extract actionable insights.
- Developing, training, and testing predictive AI/ML models to support C5ISR objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field OR High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
- 9+ years of relevant experience with 4+ years of position-specific relevant experience leading data science projects and developing complex predictive models.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python, R, or equivalent programming languages for statistical computing
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch
- Proficiency in data querying and manipulation using SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data science applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline
- Prior experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community missions
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis and tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Experience with containerized deployment (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Clearance Requirements
- Active TS security clearance with SCI Eligibility.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
