Amentum is seeking a Space Coordinator to join our Operations and Maintenance team.
Scheduled workdays and hours may vary based on business demand. This position is responsible for administering the “Moves, Adds, and Changes” program for large (i.e., several hundred thousand square feet) manufacturing facilities housing hundreds of employees and contractors.
Compensation & Benefits:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $40.00 - $44.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Essential Functions:
- Support client Strategic Space Coordinator by executing tactical space planning functions.
- Use TRIRIGA to maintain accurate space inventory data (e.g., room ownership, size, usage) when needed, update building layouts and run reports.
- Collaborate with CAD Operator to ensure AutoCAD drawings and space data align to client standards and furniture layers are updated.
- Conduct regular building audits for accuracy of furniture, people locations and building conditions.
- Work with various business groups to ensure they are following client Office Standard Guidelines, Tririga update protocols, and compliance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with departments and business groups to understand space-related inquiries & request, and provide strategic solutions.
- Manage furniture orders to ensure accuracy, monitor delivery timelines for furniture, equipment, and workspace setups.
- Address and resolve any delivery-related issues or delays.
- Meet with managers, employees, and groups to gather requirements for projects.
- Assist and coordinate move request, seating assignments, and space reconfigurations
- Help assist or at times lead the efforts to create block plans, tactical move plans, timelines and communications.
- Act as a liaison between business groups and office move vendor to ensure projects are executed according to plan.
- Maintain site campus information and contact lists within various platforms not limited to internal lists.
- Assist with the management of furniture storage areas and guidelines for storage spaces.
- Assist with the management of accuracy and standardization of signage for various locations throughout the site.
- Work with Site Services on prioritizing facility improvements and managing refresh projects.
- Local travel between buildings, as necessary. Reliable transportation required.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in space planning, move/planning management, or a related role.
Proficiency in CAFM software or other space planning tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Maintain a positive, proactive and professional demeanor while operating in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of building codes, safety practices, and industry standards.
Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior Architecture or related field or related experience.
Experience working in an office environment.
Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
