About the Role:
The Senior Business Operations Analyst at Fiserv specializes in payment processing, disputes, transaction recoveries, and regulations. In this role, you would analyze data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights while employing critical thinking to solve problems and manage risks. You would prepare reports, maintain records, and serve as liaisons for inquiries and documentation.
Focusing on industry regulations, adopting a customer-centric approach to enhance client satisfaction through tailored support is critical. Strong project management skills allow you to oversee multiple projects efficiently. You would collaborate with teams, prioritize continuous improvement, and implement process enhancements. You would present complex information clearly and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure compliance with payment card regulations and successful project execution.
What you will do:
- Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure resource availability.
- Test and validate project changes before and after implementation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and define requirements.
- Oversee vendor management activities and execute self-assessment testing plans.
- Drive improvements in business continuity planning within operational areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define contract language, targets, and exclusions, while maintaining business standards.
- Develop and modify reports based on client contracts and internal needs, ensuring data accuracy.
- Conduct audits for contracts and scorecards to ensure compliance.
- Respond to inquiries about call center capabilities and provide pricing recommendations for new business opportunities.
Experience you will need
- 3+ years of proven experience in project coordination and execution within the financial services or payment processing industry.
- Experience with change management processes, evidenced by managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs in previous roles.
- Experience in pricing and billing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience be great to have:
- Certifications in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in the financial services industry, such as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) or ISO 27001.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor contracts and agreements.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in payment processing, such as blockchain or digital wallets.
- Experience conducting training sessions or workshops for team members and stakeholders.
- Experience delivering presentations to senior leadership.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- You will work an assigned schedule of Monday to Friday normal business hours.
