The Senior Directory Services Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design and management of enterprise directory services. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience with Active Directory and other directory services platforms. Expert knowledge of DNS is also expected. The role also requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new concepts and technologies across a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities
- Management and knowledge of DNS, DNS security, and complex DNS configurations
- Manage engineering, design and lifecycle management for multiple Active Directory and Entra ID environments
- Provide leadership in technical standards, architectural roadmaps and best practices for directory services
- Plan and designs forest and domain redesigns, modernization of legacy domains, and other strategic initiatives related to directory services
- Partner with security and network teams to align security, compliance and business requirements
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Advise and recommend architectural strategies, processes, and methodologies.
- Serve as subject matter expert for directory services and DNS
- Maintain detailed documentation for projects, including architectural designs, changes, specifications, and guidelines
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with stakeholders on complex topics while providing guidance and solutions
- Manage authorization and authentication protocols, Kerberos, SAML, NTLM, etc.
- Experience with OpenLDAP
Education and Experience
- Industry experience - minimum 10 years at the Expert level.
- Industry Certifications or advanced training: MCSE or other related Microsoft certifications)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex directory services projects including modernization, migrations, and consolidations

The base pay range for this role is $130,350 to $200,750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
