Description: You will be a Telemetry (TM) Development design, integration, and test for Dallas Missile and Fire Control programs. Tasks will initially focus on the design, fabrication, and testing of a TM System flight test interface component capable of power distribution and data collection functions. Afterwards, this role’s efforts will transition to overall TM system flight hardware support including standard operating procedure (SOP) updates, assembly, and checkout activities leading up to flight testing. TM system support activities will include integration and test at home-site LM Dallas and periodic travel to ETS Orlando, Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, and possibly subcontracted supplier sites. Flight test events will include support for up to x8 Missiles launched across x4 flight test events.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Strong electronic systems design, integration, testing, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with missile programs
• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills.
• Experience TM/FTS subsystems, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) OR Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing
• Domestic travel will be required.
• Interim Secret clearance required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
Experience with FTS initiators and destruct charges
• Experience in Subcontractor Supplier Management
• Familiarity with RF Circuit Design
• Familiarity with Packaging Design
• Familiarity with Peer and Design Assurance Reviews and Configuration Management
• Strong background in cross discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, test equipment hardware/software design, integration and verification
• Experience using RF Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes
Experience with Telemetry in missile systems
• Experience with electrical design analysis and review techniques
• Experience with presenting to leadership and customers
• Familiarity with Model Based Design

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
