Who we’re looking for:
The ‘Business Analytics and Data Products Team’ is a lean, cross-functional analytics team that serves Toyota’s Sales Pillar. The Marketing Analytics team, a team within Business Analytics, enables data-driven business decisions across advertising, marketing, and digital domains across the customer journey, by delivering insights and analytics solutions that provide centralized access to data stitched together from disparate sources. The Marketing Analytics team is seeking a Digital Transformation and Analytics Manager.
The Digital Transformation and Analytics Manager will lead digital analytics, test, and optimize functions across web properties and lead workstreams within the digital transformation program.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead
Develop and lead the digital transformation roadmap in alignment with business objectives, while collaborating closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to ensure a smooth and effective transformation.
Define and lead the digital analytics strategy, constantly assessing our approach, tooling, and dashboards, aligned to the overall analytics strategy for web properties such as Toyota.com, Buyatoyota.com, toyota.com/racing, engage.toyota.com, autoparts.toyota.com, autoparts.toyota.com, and Lexus.com.
Develop strong relationships with key business and digital product leaders across HQ, Region, and Dealers to champion data-driven decisions, testing and optimizations, align on focus areas, identify & proactively address problems, and deliver business recommendations.
Strong influencing skills that drive alignment with a wide range of stakeholders in a non-hierarchical environment, including business, agencies, and technical teams
Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with senior and junior technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with teams of web analysts, data visualization and data engineering professionals to gather requirements, prioritize the backlog, and deliver analytics solutions.
Empower our SmartPath, Digital Team stakeholders and support team members with actionable insights allowing them to make effective decisions quickly based on facts.
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ team members and consultants.
Functional
Evangelize a hypothesis-based approach to testing and quantitative audience-based analysis to identify digital opportunities.
Own the roadmap for our large-scale e-commerce data and analytics platform, including Digital performance KPIs, Performance Marketing, Customer Journey analytics and Testing & Optimization capabilities.
Develop explicit testing procedures and playbook based on resource plan, best practices, and execution criteria.
Implement a wide range of product management and design thinking techniques and tools (e.g., vision setting, user stories, KPIs, customer journey maps, product roadmaps)
Identify opportunities to leverage digital technologies to improve processes, products, and customer experiences.
Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects on time and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Evaluate existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend digital improvements.
Leverage analytics and data insights to guide transformation efforts and measure impact.
Technical
Own and manage the use of Adobe Experience Cloud (especially Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Target, and Experience Manager) and Content Square.
Guide the adoption and use of the modern marketing technology stack and analytics technology stack from leading cloud data platform solutions.
Input, critique, and make recommendations on our marketing technology implementation strategy to ensure alignment with OneTech.
Ensure adherence to data-related security and risk principles, including governance and architecture considerations.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Arts, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar field, with significant quantitative course work is required.
Deep knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud, Customer Relationship Management platforms, Customer Data Platforms, Demand Side Platforms etc.
Deep expertise in Marketing Technology and Architecture, including enabling marketing analytics, technology optimization and innovation, as well as leading integration with advertising and marketing technology vendors and third-party vendors.
Experience with modern data and analytics technology stack, such as AWS, Amazon Redshift, Google Cloud Platform, and BI applications such as Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360, etc., and data science applications
Strong understanding of data-related security and risk principles, including governance and architecture considerations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with diligence and accuracy.
Intermediate level experience in generating reporting and insights in sales and/or marketing.
Added bonus, if you have:
Master’s degree
Development experience using Big Data Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, AWS Redshift or Databricks Spark
Experience working at a marketing agency
