Archer Platform Developer

Who We’re Looking For
Toyota’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Archer Platform Developer.
In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance customized solutions within the Archer platform, playing a critical part in strengthening our enterprise risk management capabilities. Reporting to Technical Lead, you will help drive the delivery of high-quality, agile solutions that empower our business to manage risk effectively and innovate securely.
What You’ll Be Doing
Imagine a typical day where you’re shaping the future of our eGRC applications—configuring workflows, building dashboards, and solving complex challenges that keep our platform running smoothly and securely. Success means delivering impactful solutions quickly while collaborating closely with business partners and technical teams to continuously improve our Archer environment.
Own the end-to-end configuration and enhancement of Archer applications, including access management, forms, workflows, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for new and existing eGRC solutions, ensuring quality and alignment with best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues promptly to support seamless day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver agile, scalable solutions.
Analyze Archer logs and system data to identify root causes and implement effective fixes.
Manage deployment processes, including packaging and migrating changes across environments.
Provide technical guidance on projects, contributing to team success and continuous improvement.
Uphold Toyota’s standards for quality, security, and integration across web and enterprise applications.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience providing a solid foundation in software development or IT.
5-7 years of hands-on experience developing within the Archer platform, preferably in SaaS environments.
Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts and Archer’s role in enterprise risk management.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues using log analysis and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in agile development teams, delivering iterative improvements.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with deployment processes and environment management to ensure smooth releases.
Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs and technology standards.
Added Bonus If You Have
Advanced degree that deepens your expertise in software development or risk management.
Experience in the automotive or financial services industries.
Hands-on experience integrating Archer with APIs or JavaScript Transporter.
Relevant risk management certifications.
Familiarity with Jira and/or ServiceNow for project and incident management.
