The Role
Power BI is considered a skill of the future, due to its significant impact on data analytics and business intelligence.
We have a new opportunity for an Associate Power BI Developer to join our Information Systems team. If you’re a Digital Graduate with 3-4 years post-degree experience and looking to propel your career with Power BI to new heights, we would love to hear from you!
In this varied role, you’ll be at the forefront of understanding and delivering reporting needs across project delivery and business operations. Your input will be instrumental in driving data-informed decisions, now and in the future.
You’ll build close and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. If you’re motivated by delivering actionable insights and improving decision-making, you’ll thrive in our knowledgeable and supportive team.
Location
Leatherhead – 3 days in the office
Security Requirements
This role requires candidates to hold SC Clearance. To be eligible, applicants must have sole British nationality, be British-born, and have a minimum of five years’ continuous residency in the UK, due to the nature of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Power BI solutions.
Design and develop efficient data models and integrate data from various sources.
Build interactive dashboards and reports with dynamic filtering and drill-down capabilities.
Optimise performance of Power BI reports and ensure data security and compliance.
Support project mobilisation with tailored reporting and provide technical assistance to end users.
What we Need
Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and data modelling
Solid understanding of SQL and ETL processes (Power Query)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with data visualisation principles and best practices
Bonus if you have:
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Semantic Models, Warehouses)
Knowledge of Python or Azure data services

Certifications:
Essential: PL-300 – Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst
