Job Description
We are searching for a highly motivated and skilled Corporate Accountant supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to play an integral part in the day-to-day management of financial operations and the financial statements process, driving efficiency, and ensuring accuracy in the company's financial processes.
Key accountabilities:
Overseas adequate accounting and control for various accounting functions.
Reviews the reconciliations of the general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts.
Engages with external auditors and manages the preparation of the financial statements and reports.
Maintains and develops automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures.
Reviews, prepares and develops reports for management and/or for regulatory authorities.
Responds to inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and issues from management, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Manages the relationship with the various teams and stakeholders within the organization.
Skills & experience required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
Eight + years of experience in financial accounting activities
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Considerable knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP / IFRS) and other regulations
Considerable knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
CPA or CMA preferred
