Responsibilities:
1. Follow up on customer projects, manage project budgets, and address customer requirements.
2. Select appropriate components based on customer needs and functional requirements; develop electrical control system architecture and create electrical system schematics.
3. Build 3D concept models of electrical systems, including component installation positions on the machine and routing of control harnesses; optimize designs based on customer requirements until finalization.
4. Generate 2D drawings from 3D models, release them into relevant engineering systems, and assist the procurement team in supplier communication and development.
5. Guide and facilitate progress, planning, cost, quality, BOM, validation, and collaboration with internal/external customers and suppliers for electrical installations on mining and construction machinery.
6. Continuously collect and analyze industry trends and emerging technologies, lead research, development, and promotion of new technologies.
7. Provide technical support to the factory, assisting in troubleshooting electrical system issues encountered during production and testing.
8. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and continuous improvement in electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing, New Energy Vehicles, or related Electrical/Electronic disciplines.
2. Ten or more years of experience in electrical systems and harness design for construction machinery; familiarity with design standards for electric drive products; experience with large mining loaders and compactors is preferred.
3. Fluent in English, capable of effectively conveying, receiving, and accurately interpreting ideas and information within global teams.
4. Strong understanding of assembly processes, challenges, and opportunities for large mining equipment, as well as harness manufacturing challenges, opportunities, and cost drivers.
5. Demonstrated ability for continuous learning and adoption of new technologies and tools.
6. Proficient in using Creo for electrical schematic design, harness 3D modeling, and 2D drawing creation.
