Job Description:
Job purpose: As more and more automation lines deployment in hydraulic facility, the Control Engineer will be responsible for in-operation automation lines bottom control system update and upgrade including PLC & HMI programing, LabVIEW programming, sensor & servo upgrade etc., together with manufacturing engineers to develop new automation lines to support production line efficiency improvement and operation excellence.
Job Duties:
Assignments as below are included but not be restricted to the following items.
1. Control system trouble shooting and problems solving for automation line and non-standard machines together with mfg. engineers and maintenance engineers.
2. Update in-operation automation lines and non-standard machines PLC & HMI programming and upgrade their control system hardware to increase automation lines OEE and stability.
3. Automation transformation for current production lines & stations and Poka-yoke system development through working with mfg. engineers and quality engineers including PLC & HMI system selection and architecture definition, programming etc.
4. PLC & HMI program management and optimization for automation lines and non-standard machines.
5. Other tasks manager assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical & mechanical engineering or related field.
2. More than 5 years of proven experience in control system design and implementation.
3. Experience with PLC brands of Siemens and Mitsubishi and HMI/SCADA software. (LabVIEW, WinCC etc.).
4. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
5. Preferred with professional certifications (Siemens TIA Portal) or experience in automation factories.
6. Effective teamwork and communication skills.
7. Capability to work under pressure.
Additional information:
The position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
