Position Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire process from sourcing materials to delivering finished products. Key responsibilities include developing operations strategies, managing budget, ensuring safety and quality standards/regulations are met and leading/developing the workforce. While continuously striving to improve overall efficiency and profitability and aligning with company’s goals.

- Resource alignment with commercial demand/forecast and projects

- Participate in definition of AOP together with senior management
- Defining factory budget
- Cascading and aligning organization with AOP targets
- S&OP
- Aligning anticipated market demands with material / resource availability
- Identify/resolve roadblocks
- Budget & Cost management
- Monitor operations/expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and identify opportunities for savings
- Ensure operations stays within budget
- Reducing waste, improving efficiency and maximizing profitability
- Reporting
- Status of relevant business KPIs; defining countermeasures when targets are at risk
- Status of strategic projects and high/lowlights
- Product/Manufacturing strategies
- Direct development/implementation of innovative strategies to realize world-class factory performance
- Facilitating NPI from Operations perspective
- Assisting in developing strategic contracts with suppliers/customers
- Operations & production:
- Overseeing daily operations (KPIs) to ensure production schedules and targets are met
- Monitoring/controlling working capital (Inventory, DPO, DSO)
- Applying proper sourcing processes to minimize cost / inventory, while maximizing material availability at proper Quality-standard for customer orders (e.g. PFEP)
- Operational Excellence
- Identifying/resolve any internal/external business risks
- Continuous improvement
- Maintain a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization, utilizing Operational Excellence methodologies
- Analyze KPIs to identify areas for continuous improvement and act on them with data-driven solutions
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Stakeholder communication/relationship (suppliers, customers, internal teams, senior management, regulatory authorities, program managers, etc.)
- Address collaboration roadblocks
- Quality assurance
- Ensure products consistently meet customer’s expectation and high-quality / regulatory standards
- Swift resolution of internal / external Quality
- Ensure proper certifications remain/are in place
Profile - Knowledge
- Superior communication skills in English to interact with workforce, peers, senior leadership, external authorities, suppliers and customers
- Inspiring, coaching, hands-on leader that can guide and develop the teams and create collaboration
- Experience in working with productivity and methodology tools (e.g. OPEX, Visual Management, problem solving techniques) to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness
- Excellent analytic skills to define medium/long term strategies
- Experience in this type of role (minimum 5 years)
- Preferred affinity with technique (mechanics, electronics, basic IT)
