Our Cybersecurity Team is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Data Protection team. In this role, you will leverage analytics and automation to defend against cybersecurity threats while collaborating across Cybersecurity and Enterprise IT.
You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing Caterpillar’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. This includes partnering with internal stakeholders to meet diverse use cases and working with solution vendors to resolve technical issues promptly.
What you will do:
- Serve as an enterprise subject matter expert on key aspects of Caterpillar’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program
- Collaborate with internal process partners to ensure DLP solutions are technically optimized and operating as intended
- Lead the implementation of new DLP use cases and contribute to the expansion of enterprise service offerings
- Partner with Cybersecurity leadership to maximize the value of Caterpillar’s DLP-related investments
- Support team efforts to strengthen Caterpillar’s overall security posture and enhance cyber awareness across the enterprise
- Manage technology migrations between various data protection platforms
What you will have:
- Consulting: Ability to provide technical and business guidance to internal and external clients.
- Cybersecurity Standards & Policies: Skilled in developing and communicating cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Risk Management: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes to minimize cybersecurity risks.
- Information Security Management: Ability to deploy, monitor, and enforce information security systems.
- IT Security Policies: Expertise in applying administrative and technical knowledge to ensure compliance.
- Requirements Analysis: Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for system success.

- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Initiative, accountability, and adaptability with a drive for continuous learning
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑class DLP solutions
- Scripting expertise (PowerShell, Python, REST/Graph APIs)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC)
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., SANS, ISC2)
Additional Information:
- The primary location for this position is Irving, TX, East Peoria, IL or Nashville, TN
- This position requires being in office 5 days a week

Summary Pay Range:
$87,480.00 - $131,280.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
