Job Description
Sales Strategy & Operations Associate
This role will be based in New York City, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale depending upon which location the applicant chosen for the role is currently residing.

The Sales Strategy & Operations team sits at the core of LinkedIn Talent Solutions, partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams (sales, business operations, finance, marketing, product, etc.) to help crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the Talent Solutions business.
In this role, you will partner with Mid-Market and Canada sales leadership to assess business performance and derive actionable insights focused on driving revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer value. This role will also be responsible for executing and scaling operational and planning processes in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. You will help sales management make data-driven decisions by providing reporting, analysis, and insights from LinkedIn’s customer and sales data, in addition to helping run biweekly forecasting for your territories. You will also be involved in annual planning activities including segmentation, headcount planning, territory building, and quota setting.
We are looking for someone with strong quantitative, problem solving, communication, and project management skills. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope, and perform professionally in a challenging, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as an advisor to sales leaders and cross-functional partners by delivering data-driven recommendations to help optimize the Talent Solutions business and achieve its strategic priorities.
- Work on annual planning activities such as headcount planning, segmentation, territory building, financial planning, and quota setting.
- Help run biweekly forecasting for your regions
- Understand existing CRM and Systems and how new Go-To-Market motions will impact existing processes, how to scale repeatable operational processes, and how to drive improvements on existing process inefficiencies.
- Work cross-functionally with Systems/CRM, Deal Desk, Data Assurance, Compensation, Go-To-Market and Regional Sales Operations teams to help suggest and implement processes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in business, operations, analytics, or related field
- 2+ years' experience in a strategic or analytical role, including management consulting, finance, business operations, sales operations or other similar roles
- 1+ years' experience with Excel, SQL and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis/modeling (Excel, SQL) and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations
- Strong communication skills written and verbal, including experience communicating with senior leaders
- Experience with D365, Anaplan and reporting tools like PowerBI/Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $84,000 to $137,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
