Overall Purpose of the role:
The Health Care Compliance Manager actively guides and supports the Healthcare Compliance (HCC) program in J&J IM UK & Ireland to ensure business practices and activities are compliant with related Johnson & Johnson internal guidelines, international codes of practice, local laws and regulations and anti-corruption laws including the Foreign Corrupt practices Act. The HCC Manager is responsible for maintaining existing programs and implementing activities related to Management Action Plans by working alongside the local business and other functions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Health Care Compliance Manager will work with the HCCO and their team in J&J IM UK & Ireland; acting as a partner and HCC Manager to the wider UK business to ensure that the HCBI programme effectively prevents and/or detects violations of law, regulations, policies or Codes of Practice. Duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
HCC Strategy and Management Action Plan
Taking on a lead role to localise and implement EMEA Regional Group strategies, policies, procedures, goals and objectives, considering UK and Irish regulatory trends and environment where necessary.
Taking on the lead role for the HCC Third Party Due Diligence programme for the UK and Ireland, ensuring timely support for the Business Sponsors.
Leading the development and evolution of the UK Cross Border programme to ensure that ONLY engagements requiring UK review are routed to the HCC team, streamlining review and approval processes.
Chairing and preparing the content for the Educational Grants Committee on behalf of the HCCO.
Acting as a strategic consultant towards the business’ functional groups. Participate in meetings and support the annual business planning process by ensuring proper HCC review is installed
Make sure planned activities are compliant and executed accordingly by ensuring proper review & approval processes are in place
Prepare and support the CORC Model as an HCC representative taking on a lead role in any designated forums.
Collaborate in conducting self-assessment and risk assessment processes to detect process gaps & inconsistencies. Address and discuss HCC items with CVT-leaders or Functional Heads
Coordinate the establishment of the Management Action Plan, and guide the business partners to close gaps and implement corrective actions
Reporting, Training and Testing
Collaborate with the HCC Global Policy, Training & Communications group and the HCCO in the implementation of education, training and regular communication on HCC to all covered employees within the UK and Ireland
Ensure internal reporting requirements are met per enterprise requirements and schedule.
Collaborate with TPEC EMEA group, to ensure appropriate Due Diligence processes are in place and executed accordingly.
Act as HCC Manager for review and approvals.
We Would Like if you do have:
University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of business experience is required.
Knowledge of regulations and industry standards.
Experience in Health Care Compliance is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to cultivate relevant relationships and lead internal collaboration across the company, influencing business decisions and business partners across all functions and levels of the business.
Ability to take sophisticated business situations and develop solutions to ensure compliant growth is achieved.
Consistent track record in delivering results.
Ability to work independently and in a detailed manner.

Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents would be an advantage.
