What does a successful Production Supervisor do at Fiserv?
As a Production Supervisor at Fiserv, you will manage a team in our plastics production facility. You will collaborate closely with customers and suppliers, and delegate work to associates to achieve the appropriate level of volume within the time limits.
What you will do:
- Manage operational activities by reviewing, prioritizing, and assigning all outgoing orders
- Ensure maximum processing to meet legal and contractual obligations
- Develop, refine, and implement policies and procedures to optimize personnel and equipment resources
- Lead team performance to meet or exceed company goals and objectives by providing on-going development of direct reports through timely coaching and counseling, positive reinforcement, and honest, direct feedback
- Full product accountability, including monitoring external defects, incident reports, adhering to client service level agreements, monitoring liability issues and escalation to management when appropriate
- Provide coaching and mentoring for team, driving for operational results while simultaneously fostering positive relationships with the team and internal departments
- Control liability exposure, communicates enhancements and improvements to processes when they are rolled out to the organization
- Ensure team adheres to established policy and procedures
What you will need to have:
- High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or military experience
- 3 years of production-related experience
- Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often
What would be great to have:
- 6 years of production-related experience
- 3 years in a lead or management role
- Previous experience with coaching or providing feedback
Important info about this role:
- You will work an assigned schedule of 1st shift
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends. holidays, and peak periods
