The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven senior finance professional with strong analytical and technical skills. This individual will be a key finance partner to the Manufacturing Operating Staff, focusing on Value Added Assembly (VAA) operations studies and Energy & Environmental planning, supporting business strategies and monthly closing and forecasting process. In this role, you will perform cost analysis to determine cost optimization opportunities, identify main drivers for expenses variances versus plan and actively participate in long term projections. You will also gain exposure to various special studies. Our team is looking for an analyst that look forward innovation and process improvement to provide insightful financial information to business partners and leadership, to drive key decisions and results. This position offers the opportunity to build relationships with various Finance departments and Manufacturing Operations.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Lead VAA studies at Manufacturing Finance Headquarters
- Support VAA business strategy reviews, interacting with multifunctional teams
- Develop VAA roadmap and consolidate short term/long term projections
- Facilitate financial reviews with business partners, developing simple and intuitive presentations with proposals to support leadership reviews
- Lead Energy & Environmental Month-End, Forecast, Budget and LTP processes
- Support energy reduction strategies
- Build and implement financial dashboards to translate financial information into key drivers
- Develop innovative tools for reporting efficiency
- Lead/support special studies
- Proactively seeks opportunities to grow (e.g. develops new skills, attend training opportunities, network, feedback)
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree: business, accounting, finance, economics or related
- 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and technical aptitude
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with various groups
- Demonstrated organizational skills and a high level of initiative
- High degree of proficiency with excel, including formulas & functions
