Position Summary
The IT Analyst will support the Experimentation Platform’s IT infrastructure through system and network administration, hardware and software management, and cybersecurity operations. This role ensures reliable performance of enterprise systems and provides technical assistance to end users, contributing to the overall security, stability, and efficiency of the organization’s technology environment.

- System and Network Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and core business applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and network access in accordance with security policies.
- Assist with configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance and resolve network or connectivity issues.

Hardware and Software Management
- Set up and configure desktop workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Install, upgrade, and patch software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Maintain and update the organization’s IT asset inventory.
- Support equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.

Cybersecurity
- Support the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Assist in monitoring security tools, reviewing event logs, and identifying potential threats.
- Participate in incident response activities and assist in remediation efforts.
- Promote user awareness of cybersecurity practices through training and support.

Training and Documentation
- Provide technical training and guidance to end users on hardware, software, and system use.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including knowledge bases, configuration records, and troubleshooting guides.
- Assist in creating and delivering training materials for new technologies and systems.

Qualifications
- Active DoD security clearance required
- Education - associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technical role preferred.
- Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals / MCSA / similar.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and common enterprise tools.
