Job Summary and Qualifications
The General Clinical Pharmacistis responsible forproviding general clinical and pharmacy services. This includessupervisionof technical staff. Supervisor – Pharmacy Director, Pharmacy Operations Manager /Pharmacy Clinical Manager Supervises – Pharmacy Technicians Key Interactions – Pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians, Nurses, Physicians, Pharmacy Students, PharmacyInternsand other Facility Staff Essential Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose
Assistwith clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
