We have an exciting opportunity within the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) strategic business unit for a Associate Director of Finance (M6). This role will be the Financial Planning and Analysis manager for the Global Patriot product line.
Global Patriot is one of the business unit’s most strategic portfolios with annual revenues >$4B. This portfolio is an integral component of Raytheon’s long-term growth and margin expansion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the financial strategy for this rapidly expanding business. Specific responsibilities include the coordination and oversight of the product line’s Long-Range Plan, Annual Operating Plans, Estimates at Completions (EACs), monthly financial forecasts, and regular financial status reviews with Product Line leadership. A key requirement for this position is the ability to provide strategic financial leadership for the portfolio including areas such as affordability, cost management, and program growth. An in-depth working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts, procedures, and processes, including baseline planning and Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) preparation and execution is also required.
This financial leadership role will be responsible for leading a team of ~8 talented finance managers and analysts, coaching and mentoring members of the team at all levels, and ensuring proper staffing levels and the right skill mix needed to meet internal and external customer requirements.
This position requires proactive leadership and significant partnership with the Patriot Senior Vice President, functional teams and strategic partners deployed in the region to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives as well as being responsible for all elements of the financial interaction with Customer representatives.
This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to MA. Relocation assistance is being provided.
What You Will Do

Oversee forecasting process at a regional level including month end close deliverables. Ensuring accuracy & completeness of data

Support the organization through various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual routines including the following: Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), Investment Planning, Monthly Operation Reviews, Monthly Forecast Reviews, and Balance Sheet Reviews

Manage and analyze large amounts of data from various sources in support of various requests

Strategic planning and business case ROI analysis

Support frequent ad-hoc requests
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field & a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience

Management/leadership experience on high visibility projects and/or programs
-
Experience with government contracting and/or FAR requirements
-
Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC's) & Earned Value Management (EVM), Risk and Opportunity (R&O) analysis evaluation and/or reporting

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
