What does a successful Technical User Experience Designer do at Fiserv?
A successful Technical User Experience Design - Advisor I leads the design, development and implementation of intuitive, user-centered digital experiences to advance strategic goals at Fiserv.
What you will do:
- Lead UX strategy, design and delivery for digital products and solutions from Fiserv, including AI-integrated features and data visualizations.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, data teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear design specifications and production-ready deliverables.
- Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups to validate designs and support development handoffs.
- Use qualitative research, usability testing and analytics to iterate designs, map end-to-end service journeys, and optimize sales and support workflows to improve engagement and outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints and co-creation sessions, and mentor junior UX designers on UX/UI and service design best practice.
What you will need to have:
- Own UX strategy and delivery for 2+ concurrent workstreams, ensuring consistent interfaces and production-ready UI across platforms.
- Plan and execute 5+ user research and usability studies per year, synthesizing qualitative insights and analytics to guide service and UI/UX decisions.
- Produce personas, usage scenarios and 8+ end-to-end journey maps, and deliver wireframes, prototypes and production-ready assets that optimize customer-facing and internal processes (including sales and support).
- Lead cross-functional design reviews and 10+ workshops/year, provide actionable feedback to designers and engineers to meet accessibility/usability standards, and mentor 1–3 junior designers.
