Description: You will be a Subcontract Manager for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for managing the execution of complex subcontracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products and services for multiple program applications. Note: This is an individual contributor role.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and management of complex subcontracts, including negotiating prices, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with technical, schedule, and quality requirements. You will serve as the primary point of contact for subcontracts and projects, representing the Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCO).
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing bid and proposal requests, analyzing supplier proposals, and performing price analysis
• Leading team negotiations, developing pre-negotiation strategies, and making source selection decisions
• Managing post-award subcontract functions, including cost, schedule, and technical performance, invoice reconciliation, and modification negotiations
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers, including negotiating modifications and resolving issues
• Collaborating with program and functional management teams, as well as other functional organizations

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with subcontract management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment
• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures
• Ability and initiative to interface with internal and external partners to identify problems and develop solutions
• Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and/or Supplier Management Teams
• Experience with US Government acquisitions and working knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
• Negotiation Experience
• Experience with LM P2P (SAP buying system) and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies (LMAP)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
