What will I be doing?
As a Sr. Director, Global Leadership & Executive Development, you will partner with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. On the Talent Development team reporting to VP Global Learning & Development, you will support projects including partnering with the Global L&D team, HR Operations and Hotel Operations leaders, and you will be in a key strategic role responsible for implementing new and existing talent development initiatives.
Your Responsibilities Will Also Include
- Leading the development of curricula for all areas of Hilton's Leadership Development Framework and ensuring that all Leadership Development programming is aligned with global L&D and Talent strategy, aligning with Hilton's overarching key strategic priorities.
- You will ensure Leadership & Executive Development solutions are delivered in an effective, cost-efficient manner through the use of technology and other creative delivery approaches.
- You will also serve as a consultant and center of excellence (COE) partner to Operations and HR partners on enterprise leadership development solutions. You will help guide talent development solutions based on an understanding of adult learning behaviors, business considerations and other factors.
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- Plan, execute, and implement Leadership & Executive Development projects and process improvement initiatives, while managing to a specific budget.
- Form positive partnerships with external vendors to align the desired project outcomes.
- Lead by directing, coaching, and facilitating cross functional team resources.
- Provide regular status updates and strategic presentations aimed at informing, aligning, and engaging senior stakeholders.
What Initiatives You Will Take Ownership Of
- Develop and implement creative Leadership Development solutions aligned to identified business and talent needs.
- Build strong consultive relationships with Corporate & Hotel Operations leadership and HR partners.
- Identify focus areas for analysis, innovation, development, and implementation of integrated L&D solutions that support organizational priorities and goals.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- At least eight (8) years of Leadership Development and/or Talent Management experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in a leadership role managing a team
- Deep understanding of the principles of adult development, leadership, and strategy.
- Demonstrated experience to present to Senior-level Executives and serve as a consultant at the highest level of the organization.
- Willing to travel up to 25%
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in HR, I/O Psychology, or related field, or professional experience in lieu thereof
- At least ten (10) years of Leadership Development and/or Talent Management experience.
- Experience in client focused, consultative organization.
- Storytelling and data-based narrative skills.
- Strong operational skill in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- International business experience in emerging markets.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Talent Module
