About your role:
The Compliance Operations Support role is responsible for the data analysis, and resolution of card brand compliance rejects/violations for Bank of America clients. This team interacts with BofA clients, BofA bank partners and other Fiserv business units.
What you’ll do:
- You will be responsible for resolving discrepancies/rejects of required data, related to compliance card brand processing/program requirements including but not limited to Amex Direct Reconciliation for Surcharge, Compliance Data Integrity, and Compliance Violation Support.
- Resolve compliance card brand data issues with merchant/BofA
- Ensure correction of identified account data issues that cause rejects/violations
- Assist Merchant Portfolio Analysts with issue resolution and communication dependent on bank direction
- Contact/educate merchants and bank partners on how to mitigate compliance rejects/violations
- Handle assigned tasks under stringent timeframes, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and accuracy
- Navigate through multiple systems, including North, South, Proprietary and TSYS platform applications to research and resolve compliance rejects/violations
- Partner with Compliance in resolution of card brand violations
- Have flexibility to help with other areas of the business
- Follow appropriate processes tracking, reporting and communicating updates between BofA and Fiserv
- Identifying process & procedural gaps and potential training needs based on projects.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience.
- 1+ years previous merchant experience.
- Excellent email etiquette and soft skills
Experience that would be great to have:
- Knowledge of different card brands - VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, etc.
- Knowledge of the compliance process.
