Role:
- Focuses on ensuring the timely and efficient supply of materials needed for production, while also optimizing inventory levels and costs.
What the candidate will do:
- Ensuring that the environment of the inventory stock room is in line with requirements for each product.
- Ensuring the timely and cost-effective availability of materials needed for production
- Responsible for the personnel development, supervising and developing materials planning staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge
- Recommend and maintaining optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking, while minimizing holding costs. Performing inventory analysis.
Degree Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in administration, business, international relations, commerce, any engineering or similar field.
- Fluent English
Planning:
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on performance
- Coordinating with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, production, warehousing) to ensure smooth material flow, leveraging advanced knowledge of SAP and planning tools when required.
- Creates, establish, manage, communicate and reviews the inventory plan for the business unit
- Ensures the inventory its aligned with the business unit goals
- Attention to the details, proactively attend the process deviations, manage alternate scenarios when necessary to satisfy customer demand and business unit goals.
- Manage and implements in a timely manner a plan for the business unit changes and demand variation by expertise in SAP and MRP systems.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
- Gathers, validates and organizes important data for own and/or team processes including risk assessments using data analysis
- Leads critical material availability situations and provides different alternatives to prevent operations impact.
- Identifies, recognizes, provides clarity and prioritizes daily work, critical situations and immediate manager or business unit requirements for own and the team.
- Provides clarity and assess risks, pros/cons and/or gives recommendations or implements alternatives as necessary, applying decision-making tools to evaluate cost and benefits
Problem Solving:
- Manage each issue or problem starting to identify the root-causes and ECA, ICA and PCA's, as well as the documentation of the problem-solving tool that better applies for each situation, incorporating data analysis methodology
- Provides different scenarios and alternatives to mitigate the potential risks, applying problem-solving tools to ensure effective outcomes.
- Analyze in a holistic way the situations, problems, issues in order to implement the adequate corrective actions, including documentation of improvement ideas for continuous process enhancement.
Inventory Management:
- Performs inventory management reports to monitor inventory levels, share projections and define the best inventory strategy.
- Performs tracking inventory information/reports for all the inventory groups
- Resolves inventory discrepancies.
Supply Chain Management:
- Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions | Builds strong synergy with internal and external suppliers and customers, integrates them effectively, and promotes collaboration throughout the supply chain.
- Participates in supply chain analysis and leverages insights to identify trends and improvement opportunities | Conducts supply chain analysis to uncover process improvement opportunities.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Master’s degree
- Conversational English
- Strong skills in team management and supervision
- Advanced use of ERP (SAP)
