Job Summary Details:We are seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Parking Cashier to manage ticketing, payment processing, and customer inquiries at our parking facility. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate transactions, maintain a clean work area, and provide excellent service while monitoring security.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet drivers and issue claim tickets or receipts
- Calculate parking fees and process payments accurately
- Operate cash registers or POS systems and balance daily cash drawer
- Maintain transaction records and prepare daily reports
- Answer customer questions regarding rates, lost tickets, and directions
- Monitor parking facility for safety hazards and report irregularities
- Keep cashier booth clean and organized
- Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer-service experience preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math
- Basic computer literacy for ticketing software and reports
