Description:The Air System Analysis & Verification team is seeking a Project Lead to oversee technical, schedule, and cost performance of F-35 Analysis and/or Verification scope. As the Project Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the executing team, working with leadership on priorities, and coordinating with the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the project manager for an Air System Analysis and Verification (ASA&V) sub team providing project management guidance to include schedule and cost to manage to support product owners and project lead(s) as assigned.
• Coordinates proposals across the ASA&V organization while working to improve proposal definition, consistency, and submission processes.
• Defines and drives work for each project assigned in support of multiple teams in ASA&V.
• Support the Product Owner and Project Lead(s) to develop and maintain technical plans, roadmaps, to drive project success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional discipline teams to integrate with the entire ASA&V team
• Coach, train, and mentor less experienced engineers in the value and purpose of project management.
• Support earned value evaluations for the projects and provide inputs and reporting.
• Support the ASA&V product owners with customer and stakeholder engagements while making sure the requirements are understood, achieved, and delivered with on time quality solutions.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (such as Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics) or equivalent experience and combined education that demonstrates a strong foundation in technical principles and practices.
- Experience leading proposals and developing basis of estimates (BOEs).
- Experience with the Agile process (scrum master, product owner, and/or Jira).
- Demonstrated Project Management skills and capability.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:- Strong technical leadership experience, leading teams of 4 or more people to plan, execute, and report on projects.
- Experience streamlining bid and proposal efforts.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Systems Engineering Process.
- Experience with Earned Value Management and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience.
- Experience mentoring other team members.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
