About your role:
Fiserv delivers technology solutions that power payments, processing, and commerce for businesses and financial institutions. You will join the partnerships and business development team focused on growing ISV and VAR channels in the Point of Sale ecosystem. The role owns go-to-market execution to acquire, enable, and expand revenue-generating partner relationships.
What you’ll do:
- Manage relationships with strategic ISVs and VARs to strengthen our ecosystem and grow revenue and market share
- Identify new revenue-generating opportunities with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs).
- Create and execute a strategy to identify, collaborate with, and service ISVs and VARs, including partner onboarding, enablement, and joint GTM planning.
- Own the business development function end-to-end: contribute to BD strategy for financial institutions and new technology entrants in the Point of Sale industry and drive pipeline execution.
- Advocate benefits of partnering with First Data Canada while explaining partnership options and commercial models; represent Fiserv in partner negotiations and joint presentations.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, and Sales to create, implement, and scale strategic partnerships and ensure smooth integration and service delivery.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in developing, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships and channel deals with ISVs and VARs.
- 5+ years of experience managing full enterprise sales cycles and negotiating commercial agreements and revenue-sharing models.
- 5+ years of experience using Salesforce CRM for pipeline, opportunity, and partner account management.
- 4+ years of experience in partner enablement and onboarding platforms partner program development.
- 4+ years of experience drafting and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs) and third‑party commercial contracts.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting using Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- BS/BA degree required; BBA preferred.
- Experience managing large strategic accounts and channel/partner relationships (e.g., ISVs, acquirers, merchant portfolios), including contract negotiation and account planning.
- Experience partnering with technical developers and integration engineers to deliver API/SDK integrations, troubleshoot implementations, and support partner onboarding.
- Direct experience in payments including Point of Sale solutions, merchant acquiring, gateways, EMV, tokenization, and related transaction flows.
- Familiarity with payment industry standards and compliance (PCI DSS, NACHA) and experience designing partner programs—partner incentives, certification tracks, and coordinating joint GTM campaigns across cross‑functional stakeholders.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
