Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

ABOUT UNIVERSAL TELEVISION ENTERTAINMENT
Universal Television Entertainment is responsible for world-class television entertainment. The division programs and markets content across leading entertainment brands Bravo, NBC and Peacock, and produces over 3,000 hours of television annually through Universal Studio Group, the studio business comprised of Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios and Universal Television Alternative Studio. Together, these teams align NBCUniversal’s content and production expertise to inspire global audiences with television that entertains and shapes culture.
Position Overview:
Seeking a forward-thinking Human Resources leader to join our team as a key strategic partner to senior leadership. This high-impact role will drive key initiatives, including workforce planning, talent strategy, change management, organization effectiveness, and cultural transformation across a fast-paced, creative, and globally connected studio environment. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the ideal candidate will bring a blend of deep HR expertise, strong business acumen, a proven track record of building strong relationships, and a passion for developing high performing teams. This is highly visible role that requires exceptional influencing skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead through complexity and change.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Act as key trusted advisor to business leaders, driving organizational change, building strong relationships and influencing outcomes across diverse teams and geographies.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with leadership to align talent strategies with business goals, including org design, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Change management: Identify opportunities to help leaders and their team adjust to business changes that will support business transformation and growth.
- Data driven decision making: Leverage data insights (e.g. workforce analytics, contracts, Case IQ, survey’s, etc.) to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for improvement or change.
- Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations issues including conflict resolution, organizational and structural changes.
- Cross – Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR peers and teams across the broader Entertainment, Studio Group to ensure collaborative and org effectiveness.
- Talent Development: Partner closely with Talent development & Inclusion Team to identify and support career development by identifying training opportunities, upskilling, leadership development initiatives.
- Process improvement: Uncover, assess, and propose opportunities for HR process improvements.
- Team: Responsible for growth, development, and retention of strong HR team. Coach and mentor to ensure a culture of learning and engagement.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional HR experience, with at least 5 years of direct supervisory experience.
- Previous Org Development, Change Management, Workforce Planning, Employee Relations and /or Labor Relations experience.
- Knowledge and practical application of HR disciplines including employment and labor laws, employee relations, talent acquisition, management & leadership development, performance management, organization design and compensation philosophies.
- Ability to travel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in media, entertainment/studio company, ideally within global organization.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with business objectives.
- Expertise in change management, facilitation and conflict resolution.
- Familiar with employment law in the US and UK; global HR experience a plus.

Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
