Sr. Principal Piping Designer

KBR is looking for a Principal Piping Designer as a technical advisor to make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. You will negotiate critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers. You will also perform advisory work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.
This position is assigned to a client site team in Corpus Christi, TX. Work will be performed full time at site. No relocation or per diem will be offered. This role is an integrated role in an already stablished Site team.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Associates degree from accredited college or university is preferred, but not required
Minimum 15+ years of piping experience related to the layout of chemical, power and refinery, rotating and packaged equipment
Must be proficient in PDMS, MicroStation and AutoCAD
Must be experienced with developing equipment arrangement drawings for construction and layout equipment
Must be experience with designing pipe supports
