THE WORKLockheed Martin seeks an experienced contracts professional to lead the development, implementation, and execution of contracts management strategies for the Undersea Mission Systems (UMS) sub market. The role oversees a portfolio that includes U.S. Government (FAR/DFARS) contracts and Commercial Agreements. Success hinges on expert contract negotiation skills, rigorous compliance, and the ability to partner with cross functional teams to protect program interests and drive business growth.
This position will require the ability to collaborate and provide contractual guidance and support to cross functional team members (including Business Development, Legal, Program Management, and Finance) as needed. Additionally, the ability to analyze and mitigate contract risks as well as develop contingency plans to minimize potential losses is a key element of this position.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Teams Applications (Excel-pivot tables, macros, charts, import/export, PowerPoint-storytelling, data, charts, import/export, Outlook-calendar management)
• Knowledge of the FAR/DFARS Contracting as well as effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:• Professional certifications (e.g. CPCM™, CFCM™, CCCM™) preferred but not required
• Experience with Executive Proposal Process (EPP) requirements with an ability to efficiently brief senior leadership.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions and providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced
work environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
