Description: The Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) department at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking an experienced System Integration/Test Engineer to serve as the Launcher Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for a team of multidisciplined engineers for the Common Fire Control System (CFCS) Block III Software Qualification Testing. Qualification testing will utilize the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS, M270) and High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS, M142) Launchers in the MFOM Integration Facility, the Vehicle Test Track, and the flight tests at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico. This position is expected to work under general supervision.
What You Will Be Doing
In addition to the team lead, the candidate will be the IT&E representative to the program, responsible for program periodic status reporting, technical interchange meetings, customer meetings, and serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for several work packages.
Efforts include leading the team through using system requirements to develop launcher integration test plans, test procedures, and perform launcher integration tests and analysis. Major test events are preceded by a Test Readiness Review and flight tests also include a Pre-Ship Review. The IT&E Lead will be the main LM interface to the customer test team and be responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries of program work products (CDRLs) to the customer. As required, the candidate will also support failure review boards.
Occasional proposal support within the Business Area and general support activities within the program, including meetings, reporting, and customer or production site visits will be required.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
• Experience with M270/HIMARS Launchers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• A good understanding of basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills with the ability to teach others.
• Well-honed writing and verbal communication skills and experience with briefing our US Government team members and Lockheed Martin Management.
• Candidates will be trained in the safe operation of the Launchers and must pass a driving test and safety exam prior to supporting launcher testing.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance and an interim is required prior to start.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM) and Launchers is a plus.
• Knowledge of LINUX and data reduction tools.
• Knowledgeable in Agile processes with the ability to use JIRA for tracking software issues.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
