Duties
Assist jumper/helpers with loading and unloading goods using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently. Support route driving by helping to organize packages and prepare deliveries for smooth execution. Help carry heavy or bulky items during delivery and collection processes, demonstrating strength and attention to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs or pickups, addressing basic questions or concerns when appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and any issues encountered during the route. Support the driver in performing pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking load security and vehicle condition. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, loading supplies onto trucks, and organizing storage areas when not on delivery routes. Contribute to a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines related to heavy lifting, moving goods, operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts, and driving commercial vehicles with manual transmission.
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to learn. Physical ability to lift heavy objects regularly and perform manual tasks involving moving goods safely. Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus; certification is advantageous but not required—training will be provided if needed. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable. Ability to assist with route driving using manual transmission vehicles like drivers or courier vans. Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
