Amentum is seeking a Material Coordinator/Parts Technician to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist with catalog needed items into the system so parts can be ordered.
Assist with placing purchase requisitions for parts and supplies.
Assist with filing AUL paperwork and maintain SDS database.
Assist with GSE paperwork.
Maintain inventory counts and balances and assist with subsequent audits.
Maintain database for up-to-date parts and material usage.
Prepare and stage required parts & materials for daily maintenance operations.
Utilize vehicle, or forklift to quire needed parts from storage warehouses.
Assist technicians in maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school education and valid driver's license required.
0-1 years relevant experience.
Experience in Microsoft Office required.
Must be able to build and maintain flow charts and databases.
Must be able to prioritize and organize effectively.
Must pass background check.
