Job Description
LinkedIn’s Endpoint Services Engineering team is looking for a Senior Enterprise Engineer, – to design, manage, and automate Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Windows /Mac OS clients and Workspace one. This role will focus on bringing in the best practices and standardization across client operating systems & management platforms.
This role will also be responsible for defining the development and operational maintenance of services that support our employees and partners. This position requires a strong technical understanding of complex IT environments and evolving technologies.
The role requires a high degree of troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Requires the ability to understand how various systems and performance are interrelated and then make recommendations and related decisions on the best course of action(s) to take.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
Responsibilities
- Key contributor to developing and operating endpoint systems platforms (e.g., AirWatch, Intune, SCCM).
- Improve current engineering processes, solutions and practices associated with continuously updating client software, system configuration, endpoint policies, profiles and best practices across Windows, Mac and Mobile endpoints.
- Lead projects and be the point of contact for the Operations team.
- Manage and drive end-to-end process design, improvements, automation and management of the release engineering practice (e.g., Application Packaging/Deployment)
- Provides analysis to inform and educate tactical and strategic needs for new telemetry.
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipeline and process to increase automation and adoption.
- Engage and influence stakeholders, share the best practices and documentation based on the personas of our partners.
- Participate and manage 24x7 team on-call rotation, and be available to work with global teams in the event of critical outages
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BTech/MTech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of technical experience working in End user computing / IT environments.
- Experience in managing Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infra / Citrix /Azure Virtual Desktops
- Experience in multi-platform end point device management products (Microsoft Windows, Intune or SCCM System Center Configuration Management, AirWatch)
Preferred Qualification
- Technical experience in managing Omnissa Horizon View on Azure or on-premises environment.
- Experience in workspace one UEM device management.
- Experience in managing Windows/Mac OS operating systems and iOS/Android devices.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure or AWS or any cloud services.
- Strong automation skills, creating tools or dashboards and passion to identify strategies for technology.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation and managing multiple stakeholders. Proven the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced and global environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven capabilities in performing root cause analysis and identifying/defining metrics. Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with good business judgment, strong conviction and confidence to communicate effectively with business partners.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage partner teams effectively to drive issues to resolution.
