Job Description
BLUE LGX is hiring experienced CDL-A Frac Sand Drivers for high-volume oilfield work in the Permian Basin. We offer industry-leading pay, new Ryder-maintained equipment, strong dispatch support, and year-round work. Drivers earn $120,000+ annually, bonuses and full benefits after 90 days.

Schedule
- Full-time
- 12-14 hour shifts
- Day and night positions
- Consistent year-round work
- Home most days depending on schedule
Responsibilities
- Safely haul and deliver frac sand to oilfield locations
- Follow proper loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance at all times
- Complete ELD logs and DVIR in GEOTAB
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow all customer, lease road, and well site safety rules
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch and site personnel
Minimum Requirements
Applicants MUST meet all criteria below for consideration:
Documents
- PEC
- H2S
- Med card
- Social Security
- CDL A
- Fit test
Experience
- CDL-A required
- Minimum 4 year tractor-trailer experience
- Frac sand or pneumatic trailer experience strongly preferred
- Oilfield experience ONLY
Driving Record
- Clean MVR
- No major violations in the last 3 years
- No preventable DOT-reportable accidents in the last 3 years
- No DUI/DWI in the past 7 years
Background & Compliance
- No SAP
- Clean background check (5-year lookback)
- No violent offenses or sexual assault charges/convictions
- Must pass DOT drug test
- Must pass FMCSA Clearinghouse check
- Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift hoses and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Work in all weather conditions
- Stand/walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces
- Work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends
