We’re seeking a dedicated IT project scheduling expert for enterprise technology initiatives. If you excel at orchestrating complex timelines for software and digital transformations, this long-term remote opportunity offers an impact in a forward-thinking industry.
- Anticipate $70-$90/hour, based on experience
- W2 Contract position
- Long-term contract, 2-3+ years
- 40-45 hour per week
- Fully remote (working CST time zone)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules for IT/software initiatives, including integrated master schedules across multiple workstreams.
- Identify dependencies across applications, integrations, and technical teams.
- Monitor schedule progress, update activities, and provide performance analysis.
- Offer insights on risks, delays, and critical path impacts.
- Produce milestone updates, dashboards, and schedule reporting for leadership.
- Support Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies in a PMO environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in IT project scheduling, enterprise applications, or digital transformations (technology focus required; no construction backgrounds).
- Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SDLC, DevOps, Hybrid).
- Excellent communication for conveying complex schedules to diverse audiences.
- PMO or multi-project experience preferred.
