Job Summary:
HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in partnership with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine is seeking a Chief Resident for its ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.Position Highlights:
- Serve as a key liaison between residents, faculty, and program leadership
- Develop leadership and administrative skills while overseeing schedules, curriculum, lectures, research, quality improvement initiatives, and simulation lab activities
- Gain experience in conflict resolution, institutional policy, and program management under the guidance of the Residency Program Director
Qualified Candidates:
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster effective relationships with residents, faculty, hospital staff, and patients
- Program accredited for 45 residents within the UCF COM/HCA GME Consortium
- Candidates should submit CV and USMLE scores for consideration
- Visa sponsorship is not available
