Blues City Carriers is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground. We're a new contractor in the area seeking qualified drivers to join our team! We are now hiring drivers for package and delivery driver associates to cover the Cleveland and McDonald area. Both full time and part time positions are available.
Start dates beginning of January 2026
100-150 stops a day
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while maintaining timely deliveries.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns courteously.
- Verify shipment accuracy, inspect packages for damage, and complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience with a delivery van or box truck within the last 3 years.
- Valid Driver's License, Class D
- Good Motor Vehicle Record
- No felonies/violent misdemeanors within the last 7 years
