Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Operations Coordinator to join our team remotely. This role is essential in managing procurement processes, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in procurement management systems, contract negotiation, and supply chain strategies to support our manufacturing and logistics functions.
Duties
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS.
- Coordinate sourcing, purchasing, and contract management to ensure compliance with company policies and federal regulations like the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings and value.
- Oversee supplier management, including performance evaluation and relationship building.
- Conduct root cause analysis for procurement issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and production planning teams to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
- Support category management initiatives and participate in strategic sourcing projects.
- Monitor MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier records.
- Assist in quality management processes related to materials and supplier performance.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other supply chain management software.
- Strong knowledge of procurement management, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation techniques.
- Experience with MRP systems, materials management, and production planning processes.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and compliance standards.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to develop mutually beneficial supplier agreements.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements.
- Effective supplier management skills including performance evaluation and relationship development.
- Knowledge of logistics, pricing strategies, quality assurance, and contract management principles.

Pay: $55.70 - $60.80 per hour
