Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packing and Shipping Associates to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing products for shipment, ensuring accurate packaging, and coordinating with the shipping department to facilitate timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, organization, and efficiency to support our company's logistics operations. Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Duties
- Carefully pack products according to company standards, ensuring protection and proper labeling
- Verify order accuracy against packing lists and shipping documents
- Prepare shipping labels and coordinate with carriers for pickup arrangements
- Maintain organized packing stations and ensure inventory of packing supplies
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies before dispatch
- Assist in inventory management by tracking shipped items and updating records
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and shipments
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Prior experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic computer skills for managing shipping labels and inventory records
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
