Duties
- Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy.
- Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Conduct clinical assessments and monitor patient responses to medications, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications.

Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, clinical pharmacy practices, and acute care management.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and collaboration within a healthcare team.
