Position Shining Point:
- The main responsibility is to develop machine electronics and electrical System for different product lines in Caterpillar.
- As an electrical system design engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to a cooperative team in the design of new global products and processes. You will Perform the Cat heavy duty machine and other products design to ensure that products with excellent performance, reliability and durability.
Job Description:
- In this position, you will work closely with the global system integration and component team to develop electronics and electrical systems.
- Takes responsibility for the design concept and component layout using the computer graphics system. Performs load calculations and participates in design decisions.
- Understand HIL validation process, which include test bench setup, create test plan, perform test base on requirement, summarize and analysis test result
- Set up product validation plan, perform product debug and test.
- Work with quality team on quality standard to ensure product meet quality target. Support the field issues trouble-shouting, along with the supporting technical team, service and other areas.
- Cost reduction for electrical system and continue product improvement.
- Develop innovative technical solutions to improve machine safety, intelligence, and productivity.
Requirement:
- Master degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering.
- Knowledge of engine or machine E&E architecture and control system.
- Knowledge of software development including C/C++/Python and Matlab/simulink model development or other relative SW skills.
- Good at in problem analysis and resolving capability.
- Good communication skill, good in English (oral & written).
- Continuously learning through experience and staying abreast of technology.
- Be creative, keep interest in taking challenge and pressure.
