THE WORK
- Perform a wide variety of duties involved in the fabrication, assembly, and bonding, trim rework, modification or repair of diversified composite details and assemblies.
- Follow prescribed methods and procedures to cut, shape, bond, lay-up, cure, trim and assemble a wide variety of composite components.
- Prepare molds, dies, templates, etc., for fabrication process.
- Cut to shape and lay-up a variety of materials.
- Vacuum bag and cure composite material in oven or autoclave as required.
- Select and utilize required templates, hand or machine tools and equipment to trim, bond, repair and/or rework composite components.
- Perform a variety of operations to drill, ream, countersink, bolt, rivet, etc., as required to fit, align and assemble details and/or components to form desired structure.
- Bring assemblies to proper weight and distribution by placement of additional plies or insertion of weights as necessary.
- Check work to assure quality standards are maintained.
- Perform other related or similar type duties as required, including moving parts and materials around area.
- Refer all unusual situations or recurring problems to working leader or supervisor.
- As required segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices to maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and comply with all EH&S procedures

Basic Qualifications:- Require H.S. diploma and/or equivalent education combined with career experience.
- Require a minimum of 1 years pf professional career experience.
- Previous experience working from ordinary drawings and sketches and use variable measuring instruments such as micrometers and vernier gages.
- Requires knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and its application to the reading of drawings and the use of variable measuring instruments.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
